We collect what we need to run the product. We don't sell your data. We don't train models on your project data.
What we collect. Account details (email, name, org name), project data you enter (jobs, subs, contacts, daily logs), and basic analytics (which pages you opened, how long the app took to load).
What we don't do. We don't sell anything to advertisers. We don't train AI models on your project data. The AI features call OpenAI with redacted prompts and discard the responses after writing the result to your account.
Mobile information & SMS consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in / consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information you provide as part of the SMS consent process — including your phone number and the fact that you opted in — is used only to deliver the messages you requested and is never shared with third parties for marketing. Your number is shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to send those messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Subprocessors. Supabase (database, auth, file storage), Stripe (subscription billing), Resend (transactional email), Twilio (SMS notifications and phone OTP), Cloudflare Turnstile (signup abuse mitigation), Sentry (error monitoring), Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy practices. The full tracked list of every third party and what data flows where lives at /integrations.
Optional integrations you can enable. When you turn one on, you explicitly authorize the corresponding data flow:
Your rights. Export your data anytime from Settings. Delete your account anytime. We comply with GDPR and CCPA on request — email [email protected].
Account deletion. You can delete your Frametry account at any time from Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. Deletion requires your password and a typed confirmation. There is no undo. When you delete and erase your workspace (the default): your projects, contacts, photos, messages, daily logs, estimates, change orders, and other data are permanently erased within seconds; your team members lose access to your workspace, but their own Frametry logins are not deleted, since they may belong to other workspaces; your login is closed, unless you still belong to another workspace; your active subscription is canceled and your payment method is detached. We retain a small, anonymized record (hash only) that proves a deletion occurred — we do not retain your identity. A team member can delete their own account too, from the account menu on the web or Settings in the apps: they leave the workspace, and if it was their last one their login and personal data are deleted, while their work (daily logs, photos, time entries, messages) stays with the workspace. Handing your workspace to your team. Instead of erasing it, you can hand your workspace to your team when you delete your account. It is then locked for up to 30 days, so no one can use it, and your team members are emailed, with a reminder a week before the deadline. The first team member who subscribes to a paid plan becomes its owner, with everything in it: projects, contacts, photos, documents, and financial records. They pay with their own payment method; your subscription is canceled and your payment method is removed, never passed on. If no one takes it over within 30 days, the workspace is permanently erased, as above. Team members whose workspace is erased, and who belong to no other workspace, keep their login: they can start their own workspace on a paid plan, or delete their login themselves.
Backup retention. Our database backups age out after 30 days. After that, your data is gone from backups too.
What we cannot delete. Invoices issued by our payment provider (Stripe) are retained by them for ~7 years per US tax law. Contact Stripe directly to inquire about their records.
Right to a copy. Before deleting, you can export your data by clicking "Email me the export" on the same page. Export delivered within 24 hours as a downloadable file (signed URL expires in 7 days).
