If you own the workspace
-
Sign in at frametry.app
— or, in the Android app, open More → Settings → Delete account, which brings you there.
- Go to Settings → Danger → Delete account.
-
Optional: click Email me the export first to get a copy of your data.
- Enter your password, type the confirmation, and confirm. There is no undo.
If you're a team member
-
Sign in at frametry.app, open your account menu (your initials),
and choose Delete my account. In the apps it's Settings → Delete account on
iPhone and iPad (version 1.2.7 or later) and More → Settings → Delete account on Android
(version 1.0.2 or later).
- Confirm with your password or a code we email you, then type DELETE. There is no undo.
You leave the workspace: your access ends, work assigned to you goes back to unassigned, and a shift you're
clocked into ends. If it was your last workspace, your login and personal data are deleted. If you also
belong to another workspace, your login stays until you delete your account there too. The workspace belongs
to its owner, so what you did there (daily logs, photos, time entries, messages) stays with it, under your name.
If you can't sign in
Email [email protected]
from the email address on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We verify that the
request comes from you, then delete your login and personal data and confirm by email within 30 days.
A team member's deletion removes only their own login and personal data — the workspace belongs to its
owner and stays with them.
What is deleted
-
When an owner deletes and erases the workspace (the default): projects, contacts, photos, messages,
daily logs, estimates, change orders, documents, and all other workspace data are permanently erased
within seconds.
- Your login and profile (name, email, phone) are closed, unless you still belong to another workspace.
- Your subscription is canceled and your payment method is detached.
-
When a team member deletes their account: their place on the workspace, and, if it was their last
workspace, their login and personal data (settings, notifications, devices, drafts, support chats, and the
phone number on their profile).
-
Instead of erasing, an owner can hand the workspace to the team: it is locked for up to 30 days and is
permanently erased if no team member takes it over.
What is kept, and for how long
- Database backups age out after 30 days; after that your data is gone from backups too.
-
An anonymized record (a hash only, not your identity) that proves a deletion happened, kept so we can
show we honored the request.
-
Invoices issued by our payment provider, Stripe, are kept by Stripe for about 7 years under US tax law.
Contact Stripe about their records.
- Crash reports (no names or emails) expire from our error tracker within 90 days.
-
A team member's work in a workspace (daily logs, photos, time entries, messages) stays with that
workspace, under their name: it is the workspace owner's business record.
