Who sends and who receives

Frametry (frametry.app) is software used by residential construction businesses — general contractors, custom-home builders, and remodelers. These businesses use Frametry to send transactional text messages to their own clients (homeowners) about a project the homeowner has an active relationship with. You receive these texts because you are a customer of a specific contractor and you provided your mobile number to them to receive updates about your estimate, warranty, or project.

What we send

  • A private, tokenized link to review and sign an estimate.
  • Warranty visit scheduling and status updates.
  • Project portal access and status notifications.
  • One-time verification codes when you open a private portal.

We never send marketing or promotional messages.

How you opt in

You provide your mobile number directly to your contractor when you request an estimate, file a warranty claim, or ask to follow your project — and you agree to receive related text messages from that contractor through Frametry. Before any messages are sent to you, you confirm control of that number: the first time you open your private portal you enter your own mobile number and a one-time passcode we text to it. At the point your number is collected you are shown this disclosure:

"I agree to receive transactional text (SMS) messages (estimate links, appointment & warranty updates, and project notifications) from my contractor via Frametry at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of signing in or of any purchase or service."

Messaging consent is optional and is never required to request a quote, use Frametry, or receive your contractor's services. You can decline texts and still work with your contractor by phone or email.

Sign up for text updates here: frametry.com/sms-signup — enter your mobile number and, if you want texts, tick the optional consent box. No account or login needed. The form also submits without the box (an explicit decline — nothing is recorded and no texts are ever sent), and a skip link continues straight to the client portal with no phone number at all. Declining texts never affects your contractor's services.

This is the opt-in screen you see on the Frametry client portal. You can view it live, with no login required, at frametry.app/client/login (and /subcontractor/login) — the page opens on the "Text" tab with the consent step shown:

Client portal
Sign in to your project.
Mobile number
+1 (555) 123-4567
Text me a code →

The checkbox is unchecked by default and optional — it is never a condition of signing in. Leaving it unchecked, the only text you receive is the one-time sign-in code you request yourself by tapping "Text me a code"; no project update texts are sent unless you check the box and opt in.

Those two web forms are the only ways to opt in. We do not enrol anyone by text keyword, and we never add a number without the person ticking one of the consent boxes above. If you have already opted in, you can stop at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get help by replying HELP.

Frequency, rates, opt-out and help

Message frequency varies based on activity on your project — typically a handful per month at most. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP (or OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE) to any message to unsubscribe immediately — you'll get one confirmation and then nothing else. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP (or INFO) for help, or email [email protected]. You can also ask the contractor who added you to remove your number.

Your privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in / consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information you share as part of the SMS consent process is used only to deliver the messages you requested. Your number is shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to send those messages. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
